You do not always need a specific credit card to get a deep fuel discount. Club memberships, vocational licences and ride-hailing driver tiers can unlock stable, competitive upfront savings at major petrol stations—often through an app, QR code or fuel card.

Check your club membership, vocational licence or driver portal before you fill up. Many offers work through a linked account, QR code or fuel card—no card promotion needed.
This guide focuses on membership-based, platform-based and association privileges rather than standalone credit-card promotions. Cards are mentioned only where they stack on top of a scheme. Rates and eligibility can change, so confirm the offer in the relevant official app before refuelling.
Club and association privileges for everyday drivers
Already belong to a club or motoring association? Check whether its fuel benefits can be stacked with a station's standard loyalty programme.
SAFRA: link your membership with Shell GO+
Link your SAFRA membership through the Shell GO+ app.- Eligible members receive an extra +2% upfront instant discount on top of applicable baseline network tiers, for the year.
Best card to stack: UOB One. It adds a 7% instant discount at Shell. SAFRA lists its Shell GO+ programme as up to 19% instant discount in total, combining the Shell GO+ base discount, the SAFRA 2% and a selected credit card discount.- Confirm your membership link is active and the discount appears before payment.
- Get your code. Open the SAFRA mobile app and retrieve your unique Shell GO+ SAFRA membership code.
- Register Shell GO+. Download the Shell GO+ app and sign up using the mobile number (+65) registered with SAFRA.
- Apply the code. In Shell GO+, go to Account › View and Edit Account › Membership Type › Change Membership, then key in your code and submit.
HomeTeamNS: Sinopec and Shell offers
Sinopec: HomeTeamNS members can get up to 29% off at Bukit Timah, 27% at Pasir Ris, and 24% at Woodlands and Yishun. Open the Sinopec Plus SG app and present the HomeTeamNS QR code as instructed at payment.- Shell: Claim the digital voucher codes in the HomeTeamNS app, then add them to Shell GO+ to receive an extra +2% upfront discount.
Automobile Association of Singapore (AA)
Caltex Diamond Sky Card: AA members can access a 22% upfront discount across payment methods. After administration fees, this works out to approximately 20.05% net savings. Check current fees and card terms before applying.
Esso Abecha Fleet Card: AA members may be eligible for the private corporate fleet-card programme, which provides corporate-rate savings at Esso. Ask AA about current eligibility, rates and application requirements.
Tip: Some offers stack with station loyalty programmes, while others replace or exclude them. Check each scheme's terms rather than adding headline percentages together.
Vocational licence holders and independent driver schemes
These offers are designed for eligible commercial drivers and do not depend on loyalty to a particular ride-hailing platform.
Caltex Star Driver Programme
- New applications are currently suspended.
- Existing registered Star Drivers continue to receive 23% upfront off eligible petrol or Techron diesel purchases using CaltexGO or a Rewards QR code.
- Check the programme in your Caltex app to confirm your registration and eligible payment flow.
SPC PDVL/TDVL promotion
- All valid Private Hire Car Driver's Vocational Licence (PDVL) and Taxi Driver's Vocational Licence (TDVL) holders start with a 23% instant discount.
- Pump at least 40 litres a week to qualify for a further 4% e-coupon (up to 27% total), or at least 100 litres a week for a further 6% e-coupon (up to 29% total).
- The e-coupon is issued the following Monday. The current configuration lists the promotion as valid through 31 December 2026; verify the latest terms with SPC.
Shell PHV driver exclusive discount
- Eligible PHV and taxi drivers can receive up to 23% instant discount at Shell with cash, NETS or other eligible payment methods.
- The programme also offers recurring bi-monthly fuel-spend vouchers. Check Shell GO+ and programme communications for voucher eligibility and redemption terms.
Ride-hailing and delivery driver portals
Active platform drivers should review the benefits section of their driver app. Discounts can vary by tier, monthly trip volume, station and payment method.
Grab drivers: GrabBenefits
- Grab x Esso: eligible drivers start with 25% upfront off, plus applicable fuel vouchers. Drivers who meet the monthly trip requirement (90 qualifying trips, according to the current programme details) may qualify for a higher tier of up to 30% upfront, with vouchers on top where eligible. Check GrabBenefits for your tier, qualifying period and voucher terms.
- Grab x Caltex: up to 32% off for qualifying drivers. Configured baseline offers include 26%; higher tiers depend on monthly rides.
- Grab x Sinopec: eligible partners may receive up to 28% off.
- Exact discounts depend heavily on driver tier, qualifying monthly trip volume and current partner terms. Review GrabBenefits for your personalised rate and required redemption steps.
Gojek drivers: GoCar GoalBetter
- Use the Gojek Esso Fuel Card to access the configured 23% upfront Esso discount.
- Monthly Esso eVouchers can add savings; the programme notes list up to 9% additional savings through the voucher bundle, subject to minimum spend and availability.
- Pro and Elite drivers may also earn weekly rebates. Gojek advertises savings of up to 37% at participating Esso stations when qualifying discounts and benefits are combined.

For delivery drivers, platform-specific offers such as Lalamove's are listed in the relevant driver app and may have separate fuel-card or station requirements.
Quick tips before your next refuel
- Open your member or driver app and check the latest offer before you drive to the station.
- Link your membership, fuel card or voucher in advance; some codes need manual activation.
- Check station, fuel-grade, minimum-spend and weekly-volume conditions.
- Look out for expiry dates and periodic renewal—corporate codes and vouchers may not renew automatically.
- Compare the final pump price, not just the headline discount percentage.
